What is OgPal Affiliate Program?
It’s a program for you to make money by posting our banners/links at your own website, blog or discussion forum. The more popular the site is, the more money you will make.
How is the payment calculated?
If those customers click on OgPal.com banner/link and subsequently place an order, you will be eligible to receive 10% commission, they are counted as 1st tier affiliates. When those customers decided to join the affiliate then they are your 2nd affiliates. You will receive 1% of the sales they generated.
How is the payment handled?
Currently we will payout using PayPal MassPay service and minimum payout per month is US $50. If your commission doesn’t reach the minimum, the balance will be carried out in the next month. Payment is paid once a month on the 10th.
What happens if there is an order refunded or charged back?
If this happened before the payday, the commission on that order will not be calculated. When it’s after the payday, that commission will be deducted on the following month’s balance.
I have not received any payment, why?
You might have forgotten to fill in the payment method during registering the Affiliate Program. You need to enter your PayPal information, this can be updated on the Affiliate Control Panel. Otherwise payment will be made in the form of store credit and you need to contact us to arrange the purchase.
What is the affiliate link?
Each affiliate has a special URL and it’s used for sending the visitors. You can get this different banners link at the Affiliate Control Panel. You just need to copy and paste it.
What is the difference between click through and sales?
Click through is when visitor clicks on banner or text ad and visit OgPal.com website. Click through ratio are, 2-5 is normal, 5-10 is good, above 10 is excellent. Sales = you making money.
Any tips and tricks for us?
Banner or txt ads matches as close as the content of the website. Example, try to avoid posting Guild Wars banner on sites that caters mostly about PlayStation games.
Be artistic and prominent but not annoying. Avoid using pop-ups, pop-ins, floats, and other nuisance methods.
Write a good & positive review of what you are posting. It can be short & you don’t have to be an excellent writer. Post it on free sites such as GoArticles.com & EzineArticles.com.
Create a free blog such as Blogger.com, provide a good introduction of us and the products. Then ‘ping’ your blog at sites such Pingomatic,com, picked quicker by search engine.
Frequently participate popular marketing forums and interactive in popular threads. Go to your profile then create your signature and affiliate link.
If you own an email list of newsletter subscribers, send them an email promoting our website. You may use some of OgPal.com graphic or text, include your affiliate link. No spamming!
Experiment with different banners, text links, or reviews. Keep those techniques that bring good results, and change the others. Sometimes changing of few words or color can really make big differences.
Think like a visitor, draw his attention, and build curiosity or feeling that he might need out off your posted product or service. Build an interest between product & visitor so visitor is potentially buying after checking your post.
